"Hey, Marty," Jennifer asked, enthusiastically, "aren't you excited? I can hardly believe that we'll actually get a chance to meet Michael J Fox! He should be here real shortly."
"Oh, absolutely!" replied Marty. "I wonder what he'll think, as soon as he sees me."
"He might be a little shocked," suggested Jennifer. "I mean, I almost believe that you're cloned from him. You even have the same lopsided smile as he does. I wonder how he and Tracy Pollan are doing."
"It seems like, whenever I'm outside of Hill Valley," Marty said, smiling a little, "a lot of people mistake me for Michael J Fox. While that can be very flattering, it can also sometimes be a little frustrating. On the other hand, however, I must say that it is nice to receive special treatment from people who think that I'm Michael."
"I must say that I'm really nervous, though," Jennifer said, quietly. "I mean, I've never met Michael J Fox before. I heard that he's a very nice person - but what if he doesn't like me, for some reason."
"Relax, Jennifer," Marty said, gently. "I'm pretty sure he values all of his fans. Just try to act natural. He is a human being too, you know. It's not like you're meeting the Queen of England, or something."
"No, but I am meeting the king of acting," Jennifer replied. "I have always dreamed of this day, but I guess I have a little bit of the jitters. Heck, I was even really nervous when I met you from the first time."
"I have to admit that I'm a little nervous, too," Marty admitted, softly. "I think it's really great that Tracy has some relatives. I guess Michael J Fox will be starring in Jaws 5, once they finish filming the Mind Warped trilogy. I have to say that Mind Warped Part II is almost as good as the original film. I can hardly wait for the third film to be released. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to swap places with my counterpart from another reality."
"I can imagine that it would be rather confusing," Jennifer said, smiling. "It's maybe similar to how you felt when you first came back to 1985, from 1955 - before your memories came back to you."
"You're probably right," Marty replied, softly. "Although my childhood memories from the current timeline overrules my childhood memories from the original timeline - it sometimes gets a little confusing to think of my childhood."
Just then, there was a knock of the door. Marty and Jennifer went to answer it.
"Hello," said a man who looked just like Marty, "is your name Jennifer Parker?"
"Yeah, it is," Jennifer said, a bit shyly. "Are you, by any chance, Michael J Fox?"
"I sure am," the man said, smiling. "Just call me Mike, though." Mike then glanced over at Marty, and he said, "Oh, you must be Marty McFly! My agent did tell me that you look a lot like me, but it's like I'm looking into a mirror, or something. Pleased to meet you, Marty."
"It's a great pleasure to meet you, Mike," Marty said, as he shook Mike's hand. "Would you like something to drink? We have a few cans of Diet Pepsi. We also have some Oreo cookies."
"Oh, I would love a Diet Pepsi," Mike said, softly. "Oreo cookies sounds nice, too. I must say that I feel a little bit hungry. So you don't mind if I spend the night with you guys."
"Oh, no, I don't mind at all," Marty said, smiling. "We have a spare bedroom that you can sleep in. Some people may find it a little scandelous that we sleep together, even though we aren't married yet. We really couldn't care less what other people think of us, though. Imean, it's not like we're hurting anyone."
"Yeah, other people should just mind their own business," Mike agreed, nodding. "So I hear that you're in this band called The Pinheads. Am I correct?"
"Here's your Diet Pepsi, Mike," Jennifer said, smiling. "Yeah, Marty formed The Pinheads back when we were still in high school. We're hoping that he can achieve international success. Right now, it's only KKHV that plays any music that his band had recorded. We have high hopes for him, though."
"That sounds wonderful," replied Mike. "I myself played in a rock band called Halex for awhile, when I was still in high school. I eventually decided that acting was more for me, though. I do still play the guitar, though."
"We've really enjoyed your movie, Light of Day," Marty replied. "I think that your song, You've Got No Place To Go, is such a beautiful song. I love the way you sing. So what was it like to perform with Joan Jett."
"She was a great woman to work with," Mike replied. "I have to say that it was a nice break to be able to take on a few more serious roles. It seems like many people prefer for me to be in comedy, though."
"I think you do good in both comedy and drama," Jennifer replied. "I could never see you as a villian, though."
"I couldn't see exactly myself as a villian, either," Mike said, laughing. "It would be pretty hard for me to place myself in the shoes of someone who's supposed to be a bad guy."
"Hey, I wasn't questioning your acting skills," Jennifer replied, laughing. "It's just that you're such a nice guy, and it would be hard to imagine what you would be like in the role of a bad person."
"Yeah, I understand what you meant," Mike said, gently. Then, turning to Marty, he asked, "Would you mind if I gave your girlfriend a little massage? I could give you a little massage, as well."
"Sure, that would be fine," replied Marty. "I can trust you. Besides, I know that you're already married to Tracy."
"Yeah, Tracy is such a very wonderful wife," Mike said, smiling. "I still remember that day, however, that she lost her temper with me. It was my fault, though. I didn't realize that what I said was out of line."
"Well, nobody is perfect," Jennifer said, softly. "I mean, Marty and I sometimes fight, too." Then, as she listened to the radio, Jennifer added, "Oh, hey, listen! They're playing Harmony by The Pinheads. This is Marty's band!"
Everyone was quiet, as they listened to Marty singing the first verse of that song.
"Oh, Marty, that's such a beautiful song," Mike said, warmly. "I can tell that you have a lot of talent. So did you write this song yourself? With a song like this, I think you really do have a chance."
"Yeap, he wrote this song by himself," Jennifer said, with pride. "He also sang the song and played lead guitar."
"That's wonderful," gushed Mike. "Say, Marty, could I have a few of the albums that you recorded?"
"Oh, of course," replied Marty, happily. "Do you know how good this makes me feel? I mean, such a famous actor like yourself is actually complimenting me on my music. This is great, Mike."
"Hey, no problem," Mike said, smiling. "Say, could I have another Diet Pepsi? Do you two smoke, anyway?"
"Uh, no, we don't," replied Marty. "I never like cigarettes, and I really don't even like the smell of them."
"I'll take it outside, then," Mike offered. "I wouldn't want to make you two sick, and I would like to quite one of these days. It's just that, once you start smoking, it's really hard to stop. Tracy and I are both planning to warn little Sam about the dangers of smoking, as he grows up. It's a habit that I regret picking up, and I don't want to give teenagers the idea that it's good to smoke. That's why I don't like to be photographed smoking."
"That's very smart of you, Mike," Jennifer said. "I sometimes wish my dad would quite smoking. He did try to quit a few times, but it was always with failure. I guess quitting is harder than it looks."
"Yeah, it sure is," replied Mike. "I'm glad that I never picked up marijuana, or harder drugs."
"I'll admit it bothered me somewhat that you played some cocaine addict in Bright Lights Big City," Marty admitted. "On the other hand, though, the message behind the movie was that drugs are bad - so that's good."
"You're not the only one who feels that way," Mike said, smiling. "I agree that drugs are bad, though."
"So what would you like for dinner?" asked Jennifer. "I can make stuffed shells and garlic bread."
"Oh, that sounds wonderful," replied Mike. "I love stuffed shells, too. Those are good."
"Then, for dessert," Jennifer added, "we can make chocolate pudding with whipped cream."
"Oh, that sounds good," replied Mike. "Why don't you let me give you a massage first, though?"
"That sounds great," Jennifer said, smiling, as the trio headed towards the living room.
